The original access to this housing complex is located on the west side, where there is still a small stream, probably hence its name.

Its architectural structure is made up of several housing sections: White Patio, Red Patio and North Section. Given that the various murals that can be seen show a military character, with representations of warriors in profile carrying spears and shields, as well as priests with curved knives piercing bleeding hearts; coyotes and jaguars, it is believed that the patios had a ritual and military character, perhaps as a school or barracks.

This housing complex was surrounded by narrow streets through which it was possible for its former inhabitants to communicate with other neighboring complexes that were part of the urban system of the Teotihuacan metropolis.
